Executive committee member of the Nigeria Football Federation Ibrahim Musa Gusau has stated that the coach of the Nigeria women national team Randy Waldrum is in Ijebu Ode where the Super 6 tournament is going on to see what the Nigeria women league players have to offer with regards to possible consideration for the women national team.
Gusau speaking in a chat with brila.net said the coach will also use the one week to assess other young players who have also been part of the Falconets to see how these players can one way or the other be integrated into the national team.
“There are a lot of those young girls that are already been part of the super Falcons and some of them are even in the Falconets. It is just an opportunity for him to come now and within this one week look at the best we have in women’s Football that can help him to see how we can draft some of these young girls to inject them into the Super Falcons.”
